There’s Nothing Like Tennis!
The primary goal of
Yellow Ball Tennis Camps is to create such a memorable experience that players want to keep coming back year after year! We’re proud to launch
Yellow Ball Tennis Camp at Cleveland State University for the first time in 2009, after 9 years of successful tennis camps at other locations in Ohio.
Our tennis camps attract all kinds of campers; from beginners to nationally ranked players, boys and girls, and ages 8 to 18. Because each player is unique, we’ve created a program that adapts to the needs of each individual. Each camper submits a Player Profile prior to arrival. This profile provides us with everything we need to know to maximize that player’s camp experience, including their general skill level and the specific goals the player is working toward.
For beginning players, our instruction will provide them with all the basic fundamentals.
By the time each child leaves our camp, they’ll be able to play a match and keep score.
It’s simply astounding to see how quickly novice players take to the sport after a week at Yellow Ball Tennis Camp!

With more advanced tournament players who are seeking improvement on the finer points of tennis, we can provide much more sophisticated coaching. Parents are invited to submit the name of the primary Tennis Professional who is working with their child. By working in collaboration with the child’s primary coach, we’re able to achieve significantly greater improvement throughout the week. We find it also helps to reinforce the instruction that the player is focusing on with their own coach. Even highly skilled players find they achieve impressive results from a concentrated week at our tennis camp.
At Yellow Ball Tennis Camps, we believe competition should be fun at all levels. To reinforce that, we’ve created the “2on2” Challenge. This exciting daily event focuses on improving both singles and doubles match play, while also emphasizing teamwork. For more information on this program, check out the
“2on2” Challenge page.
