Dayton Kids Tennis Camp – University of Dayton, Ohio

There’s Nothing Like Tennis!

Yellow Ball Tennis Camp is delighted to announce our inaugural year at the University of Dayton in 2009. With a great track record of successful tennis camps in Ohio since 2000, this is part of our expansion plan to bring the fun and excitement of summer tennis camp to more children across the state. And with everything we do, we ensure a camp experience that is so positive that our campers come back year after year.

We welcome boys and girls, ages 8 to 18 to attend our week long tennis camp. Skill levels range from the complete novice to the casual player to nationally ranked players, and you can choose from a half-day program or a full-day camp. Responding to the uniqueness of each individual, our program adapts to meet a wide range of needs. With the Player Profile provided by each camper in advance of camp, we have everything we need to know about every participant’s experience and personal goals for the sport. So regardless where they start, by the end of a week at Yellow Ball Tennis Camp, every player has elevated their game to a new level.

Beginners will receive instruction in the fundamentals – from the proper grip and stance to all the basic swings. So by the end of the week, they’ll be playing actual matches and keeping score. Perhaps most importantly, these players almost always leave with a lifelong itch for tennis that they’ll just have to keep scratching!

By focusing on tennis over a concentrated period, casual players will often achieve significant advancement in their games. The perfect serve, playing competitive doubles, finding their top spin; any or all of these areas can get the attention they need at a week of Yellow Ball Tennis Camp.

Have fun this summer at Yellow Ball Tennis CampsEven advanced tournament players will benefit from our program. If a Tennis Professional is already working with a child, we ask the parents to put us in contact. Working in conjunction with the child’s coach allows us to achieve much greater improvement and helps to support and emphasize the player’s training concentration.

To introduce the benefits and fun of competition, we have developed the “2on2” Challenge. This daily event allows campers to gain experience and practice in both singles and doubles match play, and also promotes the fundamentals of teamwork. We designed this event with the intention of elevating the overall level of pre-college competitive tennis. And it really works. For more information, visit our “2on2” Challenge page.
