Oberlin Kids Tennis Camps - YellowBall Tennis Camps

There’s Nothing Like Tennis!

The goal of Yellow Ball Tennis Camps is to create such a memorable week that players want to keep coming back for more! Our flagship camp at Oberlin College is in its 10th year now, and we have tennis camps popping up all over Ohio, so we must be doing a pretty good job.

Beginners to nationally ranked players of all ages attend our tennis camps. Each player who attends is unique; therefore we have designed a program to specifically fit the needs of a range of individuals. Prior to arrival we ask each camper to submit a Player Profile. This Profile allows us to determine the experience level of the player and the goals he or she wishes to achieve during the camp.

For those players who are just beginning to play tennis, we provide instruction that will teach all the basic fundamentals of the sport. By the time each child leaves our camp he or she will know how to play a match and keep score.

For our more advanced tournament players, Yellow Ball Tennis Camp offers parents the opportunity to submit the name of the primary Tennis Professional who is working with theirKids Summer Tennis Camp at Oberlin College child. Working in conjunction with the child's primary coach helps us to achieve greater improvement throughout the week and allows us to reinforce the same instruction that the player is experiencing at home.

We feel competition should be fun at all levels. Each afternoon our players engage in a fun event called “2on2” Challenge. This event emphasizes improvement in singles and doubles match play while working together as a team. For more information on this program, visit our website.
