There’s Nothing Like Tennis!
Yellow Ball Tennis Camp, producer of superior tennis camps in the Midwest since 2000, is proud to announce Ohio Dominican University is returning to the roster for a second year in the Summer of 2010. Ohio Dominican will offer a one-week youth tennis camp for children ages 8 to 18, with both half-day and full-day programs.
From novice to advanced, Yellow Ball Tennis Camp adapts to meet the needs of all skill levels. Each camper submits a Player Profile prior to the camp session, which provides us with everything we need to know to maximize that player’s camp experience, whether they’re brand new to the game, or accomplished, nationally ranked players.
Novice tennis players learn the fundamentals of the sport so that by the end of the week they know how to play a match and keep score. But more importantly, the fun, non-threatening environment of Yellow Ball Tennis Camp guarantees they emerge with a lifelong passion for the game!
Advanced players who are already working with a coach can expect to focus on the finer points of their game. We ask parents to put us in contact with their child’s primary Tennis Professional so that we can collaborate for maximum results. Even tournament players leave Yellow Ball Tennis Camp with improved skills, bringing them closer to their best game.
Yellow Ball Tennis Camp promotes competition at all levels with our daily “2on2” Challenge. This event was developed to intensify the overall level of competition in younger players, from grade school to high school. It’s a fun way for players to improve singles and doubles match play, and experience the benefits of teamwork. For more information on this program, check out the “2on2” Challenge page of our website.
